Building Better Homes for Marines
Building Dreams for Marines has been established to assist Marines who have honorably served and have a physically-limiting condition, with life-enhancing modifications to their homes. For our brave men and women who have lost some aspect of their mobility, Building Dreams for Marines steps in to provide no-cost planning, designing and building services.
If you are a contractor, electrician, plumber, or an individual who would like to donate in any way to this great effort: please click here. If you are a Marine who would like to apply for our services: please click here.
Co-founders Gwen Krailo and Brian Hooper talk to 90.7FM WLMW about Building Dreams for Marines, how they try to help modify the homes of disable marines, and what you can do to help in their efforts! Listen Now
Project #4 is Under WayWe are pleased to announce that work has commenced on our fourth home renovation project in Exeter, NH. This project involves a bathroom renovation for Staff Sergeant Dan Strong, USMC (Ret). Dan was medically retired from the Marine Corps in 2009, due to wounds he received on his third combat tour in Iraq in 2008. These wounds limit his mobility and require daily assistance from his wife.
Please check back for project #4 updates in early 2014! Read more here.
